Role: Direct oversight of building infrastructure, technical project lifecycles, and vendor accountability to ensure the long-term operational integrity of a 200,000 sq. ft. manufacturing site.

What will you be doing?

  • Take full responsibility for the infrastructure management, including HVAC, 3-phase electrical power, compressed air, data infrastructure, and plumbing.
  • Lead facility projects through their entire lifecycle, from initial business need analysis and design to final installation, fabrication, and commissioning.
  • Contractor & vendor oversight. You will be the primary point of contact, ensuring they meet strict safety standards, budget constraints, and quality requirements.
  • Manage departmental budgets and process purchase orders within the ERP system (SAP).
  • You will ensure all facility work complies with local building codes, insurance requirements, and environmental regulations.
  • Technical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in managing large-scale environments (manufacturing, hospitals, or universities), overseeing the infrastructure systems.
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., 3-phase electrical power, air conditioning, alarm systems).
  • You are comfortable being "hands-on" when a quick diagnosis is needed.
  • You have experience in managing external contractors, ensuring workmanship, safety, and budget compliance.
  • Dealing with local authorities (Broward/Palm Beach) and securing building or environmental permits is second nature to you.
  • You have experience managing work orders and budgets within an ERP system (ideally SAP).
